Hi,
I would recommend "IX WebHosting" because it's very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome. Check it out here:

Most hosting review sites are paid advertising disguised as an impartial review site. http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Find-a-Honest-Hosting-Review-Site will give you a list of things to watch out for.
http://www.hostingscorecard.com will give you an unbiased rating for hosts in many categories, based on a minimum of 1300 user opinions over the last 6 months. Hosts are NOT ranked by commission or any other dishonest means. The ranking mechanism is described on site and is completely impartial.
On http://www.hostingscorecard.com Hostgator has a score of 82 and bluehost has a score of 73. So Hostgator would be a better choice between those two hosts. However hostgator is number 11 over all so there are even better choices available.

i know there are so many choices. the web hosting market is so competitive. therefore you need to expect what kind of fighting going on for getting customer. don't worry about them but what you should really concern is how many domain you need for a short term maybe like for a year or two. about domain name some web hosting offer free domain for a year and even there are company offering free domain name for life and usually if you only continue to host with them. for web space one page of website average around 15-30 Kbs. so if you making a small biz website with 100 page then it needs 1.5 – 3 Mb of spaces. but if content has a lot of images then it would be more. so you figure out that first. a lot of big web hosting company are offering a lot of web space like 200-300G or 20000 – 30000 Mb but only allow one website to occupy that space. that plan is not for beginners but for biz already thriving and big. I suggest you find a hosting plan somewhere around USD3 – USD5 with web space around 500MB to 5 G with bandwidth somewhere around 50G – 200G and allowed 3-5 hosted domain(pay special attention on this when looking at the hosting plan – ask them if you can find that at their website) or multiple sites. it is enough for a startup biz. hope it helps.
check my profile if you need more info related to online biz.

Both are good web hosting companies but I prefer HostGator. I have used them for a few years and they have always had great customer service.

You need to buy hosting with e-commerce option (for setting up web store / shopping cart) and a domain name (like yourwebsite.com).
I recommend one of these: http://www.webhostingtable.com/
Fatcow has the best offer right now, they have a limited time sale, hosting for $3.67/month ($44.00/year), and you get a free domain (like http://www.yourwebsite.com) from them.
They include easy, one click install of osCommerce.
From their site:
"osCommerce is an online shop e-commerce solution that offers a wide range of out-of-the-box features that allow online stores to be setup fairly quickly with ease. It is an e-commerce framework solution that not only remains easy to setup and maintain, but also makes it easier for store administrators to present their stores to their customers with their own unique requirements."

Finding the best hosting service for your website can be complicated. There are almost endless options all clamoring to be the top hosts or the least expensive service, and this can make it almost impossible for webmasters to sort fact from fiction. The best way to select a quality web host is to take the selection process one step at a time.
The very first item to address in selecting the best hosting service for your needs is to actually identify what those needs are. What sort of website are looking to host? Small personal homepages will have very different hosting criteria from large company websites. To find the best hosting service for you, it is important to determine exactly what you plan to host now, and ideally take into consideration anything you are planning to host in the immediate future.
Never choose a cheap hosting plan. Maintaining and keeping a server is costly. They cannot give the hosting for very cheap. Then who provides cheap hosting..? The simple answer, the one who does not keep the server. They can be resellers or agents. Never choose those packages for your website.
We recommend, if your website need unlimited hosting space, get it from http://www.bbchost.com/hosting.php It comes with 30 days monet back guarantee.
If it needs small packages, choose it from: http://www.bbchost.net/basicplans.html It comes with 7 days guarantee. It is $0.01 for first week. You will not be charged further. If you are not satisfied with the hosting services, you can unsubscribe from paypal account. BbcHost also provide good support and guidance.
