Consider http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/ – it is excellent; or if you have no budget then consider http://www.blogspot.com – you cansetup your own template and can do reasonable amount of hosting.
Not recomended to setup your own service.

There are many free hosting sites,
such as, 110mb.com , x10hosting.com, awardspace.com
etc..
just google it..
as for the domain name, buy 1 in dynadot.com..
If you want a flash site, get a flash template, again, google it…
it wont take much space…

I think you are really asking if you can use Linux web hosting with Windows.
The answer is yes. The server you get your web hosting from will be running Linux. What that means is when someone tries to go to your web page, the operating system of the server will send the info to the users computer, most often running Windows or Mac. The operating system of the server makes no difference to someone accessing your web page.
The difference between Linux and Windows web hosting is important when you want to have your web page perform some kind of function. If you want your web site to contain a message board, chat room, picture gallery, or any kind of dynamic information you will probably need to install a "script" on your server. Windows and Linux run different scripts.
I prefer Linux. I use PHP and CGI scripts. Windows uses ASP.
There are other languages but these are the most common.
To find scripts go to: http://www.hotscripts.com

Hello,
What is the name of this script? The PHP script most likely can be used anywhere just the programmer suggests a company he deals with.

that is depend on your current plan. if you plan allow more than 1 domain, you will be able to do so. if not, you will have to either upgrade your plan or sign up a new plan.
the best way is to drop the customer support an email, and they will be able to get back to you.

If you want your very own website, then the first thing you need to do (whether you want to host the site yourself or not) is register a domain name. A domain name is for example: http://www.mywebsite.com
There are many sites were you can register a domain name, but one of the well known sites is http://www.godaddy.com
Once you have a domain name registered, then you need to find a web hosting service. This hosting service is where your actual website will sit. In other words, once you create a website it will need to be uploaded to your web host's server. Then it will be viewable to the world wide web.
Now, some web hosts can also register your domain name. For example, GoDaddy, is also a web host.
Personally, I like the company 1 & 1. I was able to register a domain name there AND host there as well for a very reasonable price. If you have no idea how to build your website, they have free tools there to help you create one and very good customer support.
You CAN host your own website, but it can be a pain in the neck to setup and manage. For instructions see here: http://www.boutell.com/newfaq/creating/hostmyown.html
If you don't want to register a domain name or pay for a host then you can get a free site, but free sites usually come with ads and only a partially unique domain name like http://www.mywebsite-freeweb.com or something.

The for input is send to the web server at the address specified in the form "action" attribute. The script that would capture that data can either insert it into a database or the script can format that information as an email to be send to the address of your choice.
If you save that info in the databse then you need a script to pull it and display it in a web browser.

Technically it will not, unless of course your free web hosting has a limitation of bandwidth per month. If that is the case, it will be block from access.
If practice it will as normally people don't take it seriously when it come to free web hosting. This is especially true if you used it to sell things. Just image you go to a site at freewebhostingabcdef.com/mysitehere
Do you think you will buy it from there ?
Other than the human factor mention above, I don't see any relation between traffic and web hosting. However if you take SEO into part of the factor, it might have some effect as well.
If the free site is like: freewebhostingabcdef.com/mysitehere
, then SEO is most likely be affected.
If it is like mysitehere.freewebhostingabcdef.com
, then should be fine
